INTRODUCING

We’re managing the fine print of cancer treatment.

about

us

We’re the first virtual comprehensive primary care clinic for cancer patients and survivors in the country.

We have learned how to fight and outlive many cancers, but with that comes an unintended consequence: by surviving cancer and living longer, patients will have to navigate the toxicities and long-term complications that emerge from the treatment it took to save their life. Often, patients face this alone, as we haven’t built care teams that manage the fallout of cancer treatment.

That’s where Maia comes in.

why

we exist

Cancer is affecting more Americans than ever before.

You have a 40% chance of getting diagnosed with cancer at some point in your life.

But, thanks to deep investment in care, Americans are living longer than ever after cancer.

Today vs. thirty years ago, you’re 32% more likely to survive a cancer diagnosis

Because more folks are surviving cancer than ever, we need to think about cancer treatment differently.

70% of cancer patients have pre-existing comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension and depression, but treating the tumor still takes priority.

In a world, where you had six months to live (like you did in the 1950’s), it was fine to focus on the cancer treatment alone. But today, depending on the cancer and stage of diagnosis, you have at least a 70% chance of surviving five years from diagnosis.

This begs a different care team. That’s where Maia comes in.

MAIA’S END GOAL IS SIMPLE:

To help millions of patients graduate cancer care as healthier survivors by delivering and coordinating care that isn't delivered or isn’t coordinated today.
